Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Saigon – Dong Xoai

Distance: 140 km

Overnight: Dong Xoai

Route

The adventure begins in Saigon before heading northwest into the peaceful countryside of southern Vietnam. Leaving the busy city streets behind, we ride toward one of the country’s most important historical sites, the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels.

This remarkable underground network stretches for hundreds of kilometers and played a crucial role during the Vietnam War. Exploring the tunnels provides fascinating insight into wartime life, guerrilla tactics, and the resilience of the Vietnamese people. Hidden entrances, underground chambers, and preserved exhibits help bring history vividly to life.

After the visit, we continue along quiet rural roads that reveal a completely different side of Vietnam. The traffic fades away as rice fields, vegetable farms, and small villages begin to dominate the landscape.

Highlights

Today’s ride introduces travelers to authentic countryside life. Farmers tend their crops using traditional methods while roadside markets bustle with local activity. These markets offer excellent opportunities to sample tropical fruits, local snacks, and freshly prepared Vietnamese dishes.

The route passes through extensive rubber plantations that have shaped the economy of Binh Phuoc Province for generations. Long rows of rubber trees create beautiful green corridors and provide some of the most enjoyable riding conditions of the tour.

Small villages along the route offer glimpses into everyday life far from the country’s major tourist destinations.

End of the Day

Arriving in Dong Xoai during the afternoon, there is time to explore the town and experience the relaxed atmosphere of rural southern Vietnam. After checking into the hotel, guests can enjoy a traditional dinner featuring local specialties before resting for the next day’s journey into the highlands.

Day 2: Dong Xoai – Bao Loc

Distance: 160 km

Overnight: Bao Loc

Route

Today’s ride leads deeper into Vietnam’s interior as we follow sections of the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. Once a vital supply route during wartime, the trail now offers some of the most scenic riding opportunities in southern Vietnam.

The road winds through forests, agricultural regions, and remote villages, gradually climbing toward the cooler elevations of the Central Highlands. The scenery becomes increasingly dramatic as rolling hills and mountain valleys replace the flat landscapes of the lowlands.

Traffic remains light, allowing riders to fully appreciate the natural beauty of the route.

Highlights

One of the most notable areas visited today is the region surrounding Nam Cat Tien National Park. Recognized as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, this area protects important tropical forest ecosystems and provides habitat for a wide range of wildlife.

Throughout the day, we encounter local communities where traditional farming remains an important part of daily life. These stops offer opportunities to learn about local customs, observe agricultural practices, and interact with friendly residents.

As we gain elevation, tea plantations begin covering the hillsides. Their carefully cultivated rows create stunning patterns across the landscape and provide countless photo opportunities.

The cooler mountain air and beautiful scenery make this one of the most enjoyable riding days of the journey.

End of the Day

By late afternoon we arrive in Bao Loc, a charming highland town famous for tea production, coffee cultivation, and silk manufacturing. After settling into the hotel, there is time to enjoy a cup of locally grown tea while taking in views of the surrounding hills and plantations.

Day 3: Bao Loc – Da Lat

Distance: 120 km

Overnight: Da Lat

Route

Leaving Bao Loc behind, today’s route follows some of the most scenic roads in the Central Highlands. The journey winds through rolling hills, pine forests, fertile valleys, and tea-covered mountainsides before reaching Vietnam’s most famous mountain town.

The roads are quiet and enjoyable, making this an ideal day to appreciate the region’s natural beauty. Morning mist often drifts across the valleys, creating spectacular views as the sun rises over the highlands.

The cooler climate and changing landscapes provide a refreshing contrast to the tropical lowlands visited earlier in the tour.

Highlights

Along the route, we pass through villages inhabited by ethnic minority communities such as the K’ho people, whose traditions and lifestyles remain closely connected to the mountains. These encounters provide authentic cultural experiences and opportunities to learn about local customs, agriculture, and traditional crafts.

A highlight of the day is a visit to a traditional silk-producing area. Here, visitors can observe the fascinating process of silk production, from silkworm cultivation to weaving and finishing. The skill and craftsmanship involved have been passed down through generations and remain an important part of the region’s identity.

The ride also passes coffee plantations, vegetable farms, and flower-growing areas that have made Da Lat famous throughout Vietnam. Local specialties such as fresh strawberries, honey products, and highland coffee can often be sampled along the route.

End of the Day

Arriving in Da Lat during the afternoon, riders have time to explore this charming mountain city. Known for its French colonial architecture, cool temperatures, pine forests, and lakes, Da Lat offers a unique atmosphere unlike anywhere else in Vietnam.

Guests may choose to visit Xuan Huong Lake, stroll through the bustling night market, enjoy a locally roasted coffee, or simply relax and take in the fresh mountain air. Overnight accommodation is in a comfortable hotel in the city center.

Day 4: Da Lat – Mui Ne

Distance: 160 km

Overnight: Tour Ends

Route

The final day begins in the cool mountain air of Da Lat before descending toward the sunny coastline of Binh Thuan Province. This route offers one of the most dramatic landscape transitions in southern Vietnam.

Leaving the highlands, we ride through the Di Linh region, an area known for tea plantations, lotus ponds, and fertile agricultural land. The road winds through mountain passes and valleys, offering spectacular views across the surrounding countryside.

As the journey continues, the forests gradually give way to drier terrain. The vegetation changes noticeably, signaling our approach to Vietnam’s south-central coast.

Highlights

The descent from the Central Highlands reveals a constantly changing landscape. Mountain scenery slowly transforms into wide open plains before eventually giving way to coastal dunes and beaches.

Mui Ne is famous for its unique desert-like environment, and the arrival into this region is unlike anywhere else in Vietnam. Vast stretches of white sand dunes and striking red sand hills create an almost surreal landscape beside the sea.

The famous fishing villages of Mui Ne provide insight into the daily lives of local fishermen. Colorful round basket boats line the shoreline while fishing fleets return with their daily catch. Fresh seafood restaurants along the coast offer excellent opportunities to enjoy local cuisine.

Another cultural highlight of the region is its traditional sand art. Using naturally colored sands collected from local beaches, artisans create intricate works of art depicting landscapes, portraits, and scenes from daily life. This distinctive craft has become one of Mui Ne’s most recognizable cultural traditions.

Adventure seekers can also enjoy activities such as sandboarding, jeep excursions across the dunes, kitesurfing, or simply relaxing beside the ocean.

End of the Day

By afternoon, we arrive in Mui Ne, one of Vietnam’s most popular coastal destinations. The combination of golden beaches, turquoise waters, dramatic sand dunes, and laid-back atmosphere creates the perfect finale to this motorbike adventure.

The 4 Day Saigon Mui Ne Easy Ride showcases an extraordinary variety of landscapes within a short timeframe—from wartime history and rural villages to mountain roads, ethnic cultures, tea plantations, and Vietnam’s most famous coastal dunes.

After four memorable days on the road, the journey concludes in Mui Ne with unforgettable memories of southern Vietnam’s diverse beauty, rich culture, and spectacular riding routes.

Tour End.
