Vietnam ranks fourth in the top of the world’s top motorcycle-consuming countries, so traffic is messy and even dangerous. Surely many visitors would love to experience the thrill and excitement of riding on the “iron horse” and explore every corner of the country by themselves.
You need a motorbike to escape the cramped city, explore authentic destinations imbued with Vietnamese culture in a few days? Renting a motorbike will be the ideal solution, both convenient, fast and at a reasonable price
Where to rent:
- Choose a vehicle that is suitable for the purpose of the trip (short-term, long-term; long-distance or mountain roads); variety of motorcycles such as fully and semi-automatic motorbikes (wave, minsk, ..)
- Motorbike rental points are usually in the touristy streets, where tourists stay a lot (Bui Vien Walking street, Pham Ngu Lao St., …)
Price:
- $10 for a fully automatic motorbike
- $12 for a semi-automatic motorbike
Rental procedure:
- A hard copy of his passport together with one type of identity papers having photograph like driving license or passport
- Deposit 50 – 70% of the value of the motorbike (depends on the shop owners)
- Travelers will be responsible for any incidents and damages of the bike.
Other notes:
- Carefully check the condition of the car (brake, lights, horn, lock, scratches) before signing the rental contract and paying the deposit
- If you are planning for a long trip, bring along a map, motorbike repair kit, protective gears and don’t forget to note the address of the gas station.
