We require a valid driver’s license from your home country stating that you are permitted to ride a motorcycle similar to the one you are renting.
PICKING UP FROM LOCATIONS IN VIETNAM:

- Vehicles with two wheels: Motorcycles
- All 64 provinces require a motorcycle endorsement on your driver’s license that equates to the motorcycle you are renting.
ALTERNATIVE LICENSES THAT WE ACCEPT ARE AS FOLLOWS:
MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 18 AND HAVE A VALID LICENSE FROM THE PROVINCE OR COUNTRY THAT ALLOWS THE RENTER TO OPERATE A 125CC MOTORCYCLE.
Licenses issued from Vietnam:
- A1: Drivers of two-wheeled motorcycles with cylinder capacities ranging from 50 to 175 cm3.
- A2: Drivers of two-wheeled motorcycles with cylinder capacities of 175 cm3 or greater, as well as vehicles specified for A1-class driving licenses.
- A3: Drivers in Class A3 are permitted to operate three-wheeled motorcycles, vehicles prescribed for A1-class driving licenses, and similar vehicles.
International Driver’s Licenses (optional for Vietnam Motorcycle Tours):
Although not required, it is strongly advised that all visitors with a foreign language license obtain an IDP.
