Self Drive Tours Terms & Conditions – VIETNAMRIDER

VIETNAMRIDER^® Self-Drive Tours Terms & Conditions

Welcome to VIETNAMRIDER^®. These Self-Drive Tours Terms & Conditions govern all self-guided motorcycle tours and motorcycle rental packages offered through vietnamrider.vn. By making a reservation or participating in a self-drive tour, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Tour Price Includes

Depending on the package selected, self-drive tours may include:

Motorcycle rental with unlimited mileage;
Helmet rental;
Route suggestions and travel planning assistance;
Hotel accommodations, where specified;
One-way motorcycle transfer fees, where applicable.

Please refer to each tour page for complete details regarding inclusions.

Tour Price Excludes

Unless otherwise stated, tour prices do not include:

International or domestic airfare;
Fuel and oil expenses;
Meals, drinks, and snacks;
Tour guides;
Toll roads, parking fees, and entrance fees;
Travel insurance or additional coverage;
Personal expenses.

Reservations and Payment

Reservations under USD 500 require full payment at the time of booking.

For reservations of USD 500 or more, a 20% deposit is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the scheduled motorcycle pick-up date.

All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by VIETNAMRIDER^®.

Rider Requirements

Participants must:

Be at least 21 years of age;
Hold a valid motorcycle license issued by their home country;
Have previous riding experience;
Present valid identification when requested;
Provide a valid credit card if required.

VIETNAMRIDER^® reserves the right to refuse participation if safety requirements are not met.

Motorcycle Availability

Every effort will be made to provide the reserved motorcycle model. However, due to maintenance, accident damage, theft, or other unforeseen circumstances, VIETNAMRIDER^® reserves the right to substitute a comparable or upgraded motorcycle without additional charge.

Such substitution shall constitute full fulfillment of our obligation.

Security Deposit

A security deposit or credit card authorization may be required at the time of motorcycle pick-up. The deposit may be used to cover theft, damage, fines, or other charges arising during the rental period.

Unused deposit authorizations will be released after completion of the rental.

Liability Waiver

All participants are required to sign a Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver before departure. Failure to complete the required documents may result in denial of participation.

Changes to Itineraries

Changes requested after confirmation may incur additional fees.

Any changes made during the tour, including accommodations, destinations, or travel dates, are the responsibility of the participant. Unused services are non-refundable.

Weather Conditions

Self-drive tours operate in most weather conditions. Weather in Vietnam can vary significantly depending on the region and season.

VIETNAMRIDER^® is not responsible for unfavorable weather conditions, and no refunds will be issued due to weather-related circumstances.

Insurance

Customers are strongly encouraged to purchase adequate travel, medical, accident, and trip cancellation insurance.

Optional damage waivers or supplemental coverage do not cover damage resulting from negligence, illegal activities, reckless riding, or riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

In the event of an accident, a police report may be required.

Baggage and Storage

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.

Additional luggage storage may be available at designated locations; however, VIETNAMRIDER^® accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

Fuel and Maintenance

Fuel costs are the responsibility of the rider.

VIETNAMRIDER^® provides motorcycles in roadworthy condition and offers basic support and maintenance assistance throughout the rental period.

Cancellations and Refunds

More than 45 days before departure: Full refund.
Between 31 and 44 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee.
Within 30 days of departure or in the event of a no-show: No refund.

Approved credits may be used within one year from the original issue date.

Force Majeure

VIETNAMRIDER^® shall not be liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, government restrictions, strikes, epidemics, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Responsibility

VIETNAMRIDER^® carefully selects accommodations and service providers; however, we cannot be held responsible for incidents, delays, injuries, losses, or damages resulting from the actions of third parties or from the operation of a motorcycle by the participant.

Motorcycling involves inherent risks, and participants assume full responsibility for their actions while riding.
