3 Day Saigon Nha Trang Easy Ride – Vietnam Motorbike Tour

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Saigon – Ho Tram – Lagi – Mui Ne | Approx. 250 km

Your Saigon to Nha Trang Motorbike Tour begins in the morning as we leave the busy streets of Saigon and head toward the southeastern countryside.

Once outside the city, the traffic gradually gives way to quieter roads, rubber plantations, small farms and rural communities. We use scenic backroads where possible, allowing you to see a more relaxed side of southern Vietnam that is easily missed when travelling by bus or following the main highways.

After crossing the Saigon River, we continue toward the coast.

The route takes us through the countryside of Ba Ria–Vung Tau Province before reaching Ho Tram and Ho Coc, two coastal areas known for their beaches, fishing communities and casuarina forests.

Here, the atmosphere is noticeably different from Saigon. Fishing boats sit offshore, local markets sell freshly caught seafood and small roads run through coastal villages and agricultural land.

We make a stop along the coast for refreshments and, depending on the day’s conditions, have the opportunity to enjoy fresh seafood, coconut water or a Vietnamese coffee while taking in the sea views.

From Ho Coc, we continue south toward Ke Ga Cape.

Ke Ga is famous for its historic lighthouse, built during the French colonial period in the late nineteenth century. Standing beside the sea, it is one of the most recognisable landmarks along this section of Vietnam’s southern coastline.

The road then continues toward Lagi, a quiet coastal town where local life remains much less developed than in Vietnam’s major beach resorts.

As we travel farther into Binh Thuan Province, the landscape begins to change. Green farmland gradually gives way to drier terrain, red sand, salt fields and roadside fruit gardens.

This is one of the most enjoyable parts of the day’s ride because the scenery constantly changes.

Eventually, we approach Mui Ne, where tall palms, sand dunes and the coastline create a distinctive tropical landscape.

We arrive in Mui Ne in the late afternoon and check into our hotel.

After approximately 250 kilometres on the road, you can relax by the sea, explore the local area or enjoy fresh seafood for dinner.

The first day of the 3 Day Saigon to Nha Trang Easy Ride combines coastal scenery, rural roads and local life, providing a relaxed but adventurous start to the journey.

Overnight: Mui Ne
Distance: Approximately 250 km
Riding time: Around 5–6 hours, excluding longer sightseeing stops

Day 2: Mui Ne – Di Linh Plateau – Da Lat | Approx. 160 km

Today we leave the coast behind and head into the Central Highlands.

This is where the character of the journey changes dramatically.

After breakfast in Mui Ne, we ride inland through rural communities and agricultural areas before gradually climbing toward the mountains.

The warm coastal air becomes cooler as the elevation increases. Palm trees and sandy landscapes disappear behind us, replaced by green hills, plantations and forest.

Our route leads toward the Di Linh Plateau, one of Lam Dong Province’s important agricultural regions.

The highlands are particularly famous for coffee and tea production. As we ride through the countryside, plantations cover the hillsides and small farms appear between sections of forest.

This is a very different experience from the coastal riding of Day 1.

The roads become more winding and the scenery more dramatic, with mountain viewpoints appearing along the route. We make regular stops to stretch our legs, take photographs and enjoy the fresh highland air.

One of today’s cultural experiences is a visit to a traditional silk workshop.

Silk production has been an important local craft in Lam Dong for generations. At the workshop, you can see how silk is produced and processed, learn about traditional techniques and watch local workers turn raw material into finished fabric.

We then continue through the coffee-growing countryside.

A stop at a local coffee farm introduces you to weasel coffee, one of Vietnam’s most unusual and internationally recognised coffee products. Your guide will explain the traditional production process and the history of civet coffee in Vietnam.

You can also enjoy a freshly prepared cup while taking a break in the plantation surroundings.

After lunch, the road continues toward Da Lat.

The scenery becomes increasingly mountainous, with pine forests, vegetable farms and flower-growing areas appearing around the city.

Known as Vietnam’s “City of Eternal Spring”, Da Lat has a much cooler climate than the southern lowlands. Its mountain setting, pine forests, flower gardens and French colonial architecture have made it one of the country’s best-known highland destinations.

Rather than simply travelling directly into the city, this Saigon to Nha Trang Easy Rider Tour focuses on the journey through the countryside and mountain roads surrounding Da Lat.

We arrive in Da Lat in the late afternoon and check into our accommodation.

The evening is free to explore the city, visit a local café or enjoy the cool mountain atmosphere.

Overnight: Da Lat
Distance: Approximately 160 km
Riding time: Around 4–6 hours, excluding longer sightseeing stops

Day 3: Da Lat – Long Lanh Pass – Nha Trang | Approx. 160 km

The final day of the Saigon to Nha Trang Motorbike Tour begins in the cool highlands around Da Lat.

After breakfast, we leave the city and ride through pine forests, flower farms and rolling mountain countryside.

The road soon becomes more spectacular as we approach Long Lanh Pass, also known as Provincial Road 723.

This is one of the highlights of the journey.

The mountain route connects the Da Lat highlands with the coastal region near Nha Trang. It winds through forested slopes and deep valleys before gradually descending toward the coast.

For motorcycle travellers, the road provides an exciting combination of sweeping bends, changing elevations and spectacular scenery.

Along the way, we stop at suitable viewpoints to enjoy the mountain landscape and take photographs.

Weather conditions can change quickly at higher elevations. Mist, clouds and changing light often give the mountains a completely different appearance from one moment to the next.

As we descend, the landscape begins to transform once again.

The cool pine forests gradually disappear and are replaced by warmer tropical vegetation, farms and villages. The temperature rises as we lose altitude, creating a noticeable contrast with the cool morning air around Da Lat.

The route also passes through areas inhabited by K’ho communities, one of the indigenous ethnic groups of the Central Highlands.

Different K’ho groups, including the Cil, Lach, Ma and Srae, have traditionally lived across parts of this region. Depending on the route and local conditions, we may make a short stop to learn more about local life, traditional crafts, agriculture and the relationship between the communities and their surrounding environment.

These encounters are informal and respectful, allowing travellers to see everyday rural life rather than a staged cultural show.

Continuing downhill, the landscape becomes increasingly tropical.

Palm trees, agricultural fields and warmer coastal vegetation signal that Nha Trang is getting closer.

Eventually, the mountain road gives way to the coastal plain and we continue toward Nha Trang, one of Vietnam’s most popular seaside destinations.

Arriving in the early or mid-afternoon, you can check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace.

After three days of riding through coastal villages, plantations, highland countryside and mountain passes, the 3 Day Saigon to Nha Trang Easy Ride finishes beside the sea.

Nha Trang is an ideal place to extend your Vietnam journey, with long sandy beaches, islands, seafood restaurants and a lively waterfront.

Distance: Approximately 160 km
Riding time: Around 4–6 hours, excluding sightseeing stops
End: Nha Trang
