3 Day Saigon Loop Easy Ride – Vietnam Motorbike Tour
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Saigon – Long Khanh – Da Huoai – Di Linh | Approx. 200 km
Your 3 Day Saigon Loop Easy Rider Tour begins at around 7:30 AM as we leave Ho Chi Minh City and head northeast toward the Central Highlands.
The busy streets and traffic of Saigon gradually give way to quieter roads, rice fields, rural villages and agricultural landscapes. This first part of the journey gives you a chance to see how quickly Vietnam changes once you leave the city behind.
Around 9:00 AM, we make a stop near Long Khanh at a local rubber plantation. The region is one of southern Vietnam’s important agricultural areas, and depending on the season, you may see workers collecting latex from the rubber trees. Your guide will explain more about rubber production and its importance to the local economy.
We continue through the countryside, passing colourful dragon fruit farms and small communities before reaching Da Huoai District.
Around 10:30 AM, we stop at a local roadside café overlooking the La Nga River. This is a good opportunity to enjoy a traditional Vietnamese coffee, take photographs and simply watch local life passing by.
The road then becomes more remote as we continue toward the foothills of the Central Highlands.
Around midday, we stop at a scenic waterfall surrounded by tropical forest. Here, we can enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch with local Vietnamese dishes and fresh tropical fruit. Rather than spending the entire day at tourist attractions, the route is designed to combine riding with authentic stops and time to enjoy the countryside.
After lunch, we begin climbing toward the Di Linh Plateau. The temperature becomes cooler as the elevation increases, while the scenery changes from tropical lowlands to mountain plantations.
Tea farms, coffee plantations, forested hills and ethnic minority communities appear along the back roads. This is one of the most enjoyable sections of the ride for travellers who want to experience Vietnam away from the main tourist routes.
We arrive in Di Linh in the late afternoon and check into our local guesthouse.
After settling in, you can relax and enjoy a home-style dinner featuring regional Vietnamese food. It is a simple and peaceful way to finish the first day of your Central Highlands motorcycle adventure.
Overnight: Di Linh
Distance: Approximately 200 km
Riding time: Around 6–7 hours, including stops and sightseeing
Day 2: Di Linh – Da Lat – Ta Nung – Bao Loc | Approx. 160 km
After breakfast, we leave Di Linh at around 7:30 AM and continue deeper into the highlands.
The morning ride takes us through cool mountain air, tea plantations, coffee farms and winding countryside roads. As we approach Da Lat, pine forests and higher mountain landscapes begin to replace the warmer tropical scenery of the lowlands.
Da Lat is famous for its cool climate, flower gardens, pine forests, lakes and agricultural products. It is also one of Vietnam’s most important highland farming areas.
Around 10:00 AM, we make a stop at Da Lat Market, where you can see the wide variety of fruits, vegetables, flowers and local products that come from the surrounding highlands.
Depending on the season, you may find strawberries, mulberries, artichokes and other regional produce. It is also a good place to experience the lively atmosphere of everyday Da Lat.
Next, we visit a local weasel coffee farm.
Vietnam is famous for coffee, and civet coffee—often marketed as weasel coffee—is one of the country’s most unusual coffee experiences. At the farm, you can learn about the traditional production process and taste the coffee in a garden setting.
We continue with a local lunch before leaving the city and heading into the scenic Ta Nung Valley.
The road through Ta Nung offers a completely different atmosphere from Da Lat. Pine forests, plantations, hills and small farming communities create an attractive mountain landscape, with plenty of opportunities to stop for photographs.
One of the cultural highlights of the afternoon is a visit to a traditional silk workshop. Vietnam has a long history of silk production, and at a family-run workshop you can learn how silk is processed and see traditional techniques used to turn the raw material into finished fabric.
This is a fascinating insight into local craftsmanship and provides a nice contrast to the day’s mountain riding.
In the afternoon, we continue toward Dambri Waterfall, one of the best-known waterfalls in the Central Highlands.
The waterfall drops approximately 70 metres through lush forest, creating an impressive natural setting. We take time to explore the area and enjoy the views before continuing toward Bao Loc.
The ride to Bao Loc takes us through tea and coffee-growing country. Bao Loc is particularly well known for its tea production, and the surrounding hills are covered with plantations.
We arrive in Bao Loc in the late afternoon, check into our hotel and have time to relax.
Enjoy dinner and, if you wish, try some of the local tea for which the region is famous.
Overnight: Bao Loc
Distance: Approximately 160 km
Riding time: Around 6–7 hours, including sightseeing and stops
Day 3: Bao Loc – Cat Tien – Da Huoai – Saigon | Approx. 220 km
Our final day begins around 7:00 AM with breakfast and views of the green hills around Bao Loc.
We leave at approximately 7:45 AM and start descending from the Central Highlands toward the lower countryside.
The morning ride takes us through tea plantations, coffee farms and quiet rural roads. The route offers a final chance to enjoy the highland scenery before the landscape gradually becomes warmer and more tropical.
We continue toward the Cat Tien area, where the mountains give way to forests, farmland and river landscapes.
Around 9:30 AM, we stop near Cat Tien National Park to visit a local ethnic minority community. Depending on the route and local conditions, we may see traditional stilt houses and learn more about the culture and daily life of communities such as the Ma and S’tieng people.
These encounters offer a different perspective on rural Vietnam and help explain how local communities have adapted to life in the forest and agricultural landscapes of southern Vietnam.
From Cat Tien, we continue along the Dong Nai River, one of southern Vietnam’s major waterways.
The road passes through green countryside, forests, farms and small villages. This section of the route is particularly enjoyable for riders who prefer quieter roads and changing landscapes rather than busy highways.
Around midday, we stop for lunch in Da Huoai District, an area known for local produce and tropical fruit.
After lunch, we continue south toward the lowlands. The temperature gradually rises as we leave the highlands behind, and the scenery changes once again to rice fields, plantations and rural villages.
There is time for a short afternoon break around 3:30 PM, perhaps for a Vietnamese coffee or fresh sugarcane juice, before beginning the final section back toward Saigon.
As we approach Ho Chi Minh City, the roads become busier and the familiar urban landscape slowly returns.
We expect to arrive in Saigon around 5:00–5:30 PM, depending on traffic and road conditions.
After approximately 650 km over three days, your Saigon Loop Easy Rider Tour comes to an end with drop-off at your hotel.
Distance: Approximately 220 km
Riding time: Around 7–8 hours, including stops
End: Saigon
