1 Day Da Lat Nha Trang Easy Ride – VIETNAMRIDER
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Da Lat – Coffee Plantation – K’Ho Village – Omega Pass – Nha Trang
Distance: Approximately 150 km
Start: 8:00 AM – Da Lat
Finish: Around 5:00 PM – Nha Trang
We leave Da Lat at around 8:00 AM and quickly leave the city behind, heading into the surrounding countryside. The morning ride follows quieter roads through farms and mountain landscapes, giving you an early look at rural life around Da Lat.
Our first stop is a local coffee plantation. Vietnam is one of the world’s major coffee-producing countries, and this visit gives you the chance to see how coffee is grown and learn about local production. There is also time to enjoy a Vietnamese coffee before continuing the ride.
From the coffee country, we continue through rural communities and small farming areas. The roads become quieter as we move deeper into the Central Highlands, with changing scenery and fewer vehicles than the main routes between Da Lat and Nha Trang.
We then stop at a K’Ho village to experience local life and learn more about one of the indigenous communities of the Central Highlands. This is a simple cultural stop that adds a local perspective to the journey rather than simply riding from one city to another.
After the village visit, we head towards Omega Pass, one of the most enjoyable sections of the route. The road climbs and winds through the mountains, with bends, forest and wide views across the highlands. For riders, this is where the journey really becomes a mountain adventure.
Around midday, we stop for lunch in the mountain area at approximately 1,500 metres above sea level. Enjoy a local Vietnamese meal before getting back on the road for the afternoon section.
After lunch, we begin the descent from the highlands. The landscape changes again as we ride through forest and mountain countryside towards lower elevations. Along the way, we make a stop at a waterfall where you can take a break, enjoy the surroundings and take some photos.
The final section takes us towards the coast. The mountain scenery gradually gives way to lower countryside as we approach Nha Trang. We continue along the scenic route before arriving in Nha Trang at around 5:00 PM.
After approximately 150 km on the road, the 1 Day Da Lat Nha Trang Easy Ride comes to an end at your hotel or another agreed location in Nha Trang.
Testimonials
“Just finished a 21 day tour of Vietnam, Saigon – Hanoi, (3500km) trip, taking in most of Vietnam, and many places the tourist doesn’t go, the real Vietnam, with Mr Nam as my guide, a highly recommended trip, on a Honda XR 250, and yes I got wet, lol, but I’ve still got a smile on my face… great country, great people, great trip, many great memories, and a great guide.”
