1 Day Da Lat Mui Ne Easy Ride – VIETNAMRIDER
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Da Lat – Ta Nung Valley – Dai Ninh Pass – Mui Ne
Distance: Approximately 130 km
Start: 8:00 AM – Da Lat
Finish: Around 4:30–5:00 PM – Mui Ne
We pick you up from your hotel in Da Lat at around 8:00 AM and begin the ride south. After a short safety briefing and motorcycle check, we leave the city behind and follow quieter roads into the Central Highlands countryside.
The morning ride takes us through Ta Nung Valley, with green hills, farms and small local communities along the route. We stop at a traditional silk-producing village, where you can learn about the local silk-making process, from silkworms and cocoons to finished fabric.
We then continue to a local coffee plantation. The Central Highlands is one of Vietnam’s major coffee-growing regions, and your guide will explain how coffee is cultivated and processed. There is also an opportunity to taste locally prepared coffee, including civet coffee if you wish.
Around late morning, we stop at a Central Highlands waterfall. Depending on the day’s timing, road conditions and your preference, you can choose between Elephant Waterfall or Pongour Waterfall. Elephant Waterfall offers a more rugged setting, while Pongour is known for its broad, multi-level cascade. Nearby Linh An Pagoda can also be included with the Elephant Waterfall option.
We continue with a local Vietnamese countryside lunch before heading towards Dai Ninh. Vegetarian and vegan meals can be arranged with advance notice.
After lunch, the ride becomes more scenic as we cross Dai Ninh Mountain Pass. The road winds through mountain and agricultural areas, with changing views of forests, cultivated hillsides, dragon fruit farms and cashew-growing areas. There are opportunities to stop for photographs along the way.
As we descend towards the coast, the landscape gradually changes from the cool, green Central Highlands to the warmer and drier countryside around Mui Ne. By the afternoon, we reach the Red Sand Dunes, where there is time to walk around and take photographs. If you would like to visit the larger White Sand Dunes, an optional detour may be possible depending on the day’s schedule.
Our final stop is a traditional Mui Ne fishing village. You can see the colourful round basket boats used by local fishermen and watch activity around the bay. It is a good opportunity to see a more local side of Mui Ne away from the main resort area.
We then make the final ride into Mui Ne, arriving at your hotel around 4:30–5:00 PM, depending on road conditions and the time spent at each stop.
End of the 1 Day Da Lat Mui Ne Easy Ride in Mui Ne.
