Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Saigon – Dong Xoai

Distance: 140 km

Overnight: Dong Xoai

Route

Your Vietnam motorbike adventure begins in Saigon, where the energy of Vietnam’s largest city quickly fades as we head toward the countryside. Before leaving the lowlands behind, we stop at one of the country’s most important historical landmarks, the famous Cu Chi Tunnels.

Built and expanded during decades of conflict, this underground network played a crucial role during the Vietnam War. Walking through preserved sections of the tunnels offers fascinating insight into the resilience and ingenuity of the Vietnamese people. Hidden entrances, underground living quarters, and wartime exhibits help bring history to life.

Leaving Cu Chi behind, the road becomes quieter and greener. Small villages, rice paddies, and farmland stretch across the landscape while daily rural life unfolds beside the road. Farmers work in their fields, children cycle home from school, and roadside cafés provide perfect opportunities to pause for a traditional Vietnamese coffee.

Highlights

The ride through Binh Phuoc Province introduces riders to Vietnam’s vast rubber-growing region. Endless rows of rubber trees line the route, creating shaded roads and peaceful scenery. The area played an important role during the war years and remains one of the country’s key agricultural regions today.

Along the way, we pass through communities inhabited by the Stieng ethnic minority people. These encounters offer a glimpse into a way of life that remains deeply connected to the land and local traditions.

The riding is relaxed and enjoyable, making this first day an ideal introduction to the tour.

End of the Day

By late afternoon we arrive in Dong Xoai, a quiet provincial town surrounded by plantations and rolling countryside. After checking into the hotel, there is time to explore the local market or enjoy a traditional southern Vietnamese dinner before preparing for the next stage of the journey.

Day 2: Dong Xoai – Bao Loc

Distance: 160 km

Overnight: Bao Loc

Route

After breakfast, we continue north toward the Central Highlands. Today’s ride follows sections of the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail, one of the most significant transportation networks in modern Vietnamese history.

The route passes through some of southern Vietnam’s most scenic rural landscapes. Traffic remains light while winding roads guide us through forests, plantations, and remote villages rarely visited by international tourists.

As the elevation gradually increases, the climate becomes cooler and the scenery more dramatic. Dense greenery covers the hills while rivers and streams cut through the valleys below.

Highlights

One of the major highlights of the day is the region surrounding Nam Cat Tien National Park. Known for its remarkable biodiversity, the area protects some of Vietnam’s remaining lowland tropical rainforest. Even from the road, riders can appreciate the lush environment and rich natural beauty.

Throughout the day, there are opportunities to stop at small villages and roadside markets. These stops provide insight into local life while offering chances to sample regional snacks and fresh tropical fruits.

As we climb higher into the mountains, tea plantations begin appearing across the hillsides. Their perfectly arranged rows create beautiful patterns across the landscape and signal our arrival in Bao Loc, one of Vietnam’s most important tea-producing regions.

End of the Day

Bao Loc enjoys a cooler climate than the lowlands and is famous for tea, silk production, and coffee cultivation. After checking into the hotel, we visit a local tea-growing area to learn about production techniques and enjoy panoramic views across the surrounding hills.

The evening offers a relaxed atmosphere and a welcome escape from the heat of southern Vietnam.

Day 3: Bao Loc – Da Lat

Distance: 120 km

Overnight: Da Lat

Route

Today’s ride is shorter in distance but packed with spectacular scenery. Leaving Bao Loc, we travel deeper into the Central Highlands along quiet mountain roads surrounded by tea plantations, pine forests, vegetable farms, and rolling valleys.

The road climbs steadily through cooler elevations, creating one of the most enjoyable riding days of the tour. Morning mist often lingers over the hills, while winding roads reveal new viewpoints around almost every corner.

Unlike Vietnam’s busy highways, this route allows riders to fully appreciate the beauty of the highlands at a relaxed pace.

Highlights

The Central Highlands are home to numerous ethnic minority communities, including the K’ho people who have lived in this region for generations. Along the route, we visit local villages where traditional lifestyles remain closely connected to farming and the surrounding landscape.

Another highlight is a visit to a traditional silk-producing area. Here, riders can observe the entire process of silk production, from silkworm cultivation to weaving and finishing. This centuries-old craft remains an important part of the region’s economy and cultural heritage.

As we approach Da Lat, the scenery becomes increasingly picturesque. Pine-covered hills, flower farms, lakes, and French-era architecture create a unique atmosphere unlike anywhere else in Vietnam.

End of the Day

Arriving in Da Lat during the afternoon, there is plenty of time to explore Vietnam’s most famous mountain town. Known as the “City of Eternal Spring,” Da Lat was developed during the French colonial period as a hill station retreat.

Visitors can stroll around Xuan Huong Lake, browse the vibrant night market, sample local strawberries and coffee, or simply enjoy the cool mountain air. The evening is spent in a comfortable hotel in the city center.

Day 4: Da Lat – Nha Trang

Distance: 140 km

Overnight: Tour Ends

Route

The final day delivers one of the most scenic rides of the entire journey. Leaving Da Lat behind, we descend from the Central Highlands toward Vietnam’s south-central coast via the spectacular Long Lanh Pass.

This mountain road twists through forests, valleys, and highland landscapes, offering sweeping views across some of the country’s most beautiful natural scenery. The elevation gradually decreases as tropical vegetation becomes more prominent and the climate grows warmer.

The ride combines smooth mountain curves, dramatic viewpoints, and quiet roads that are a pleasure to ride.

Highlights

Several stops along the route allow us to enjoy waterfalls hidden among the forests. These peaceful locations provide excellent opportunities for photographs and a chance to appreciate the untouched beauty of the region.

We also pass through small ethnic minority communities where traditional weaving, farming, and handicrafts remain part of daily life. These encounters offer authentic cultural experiences rarely found on mainstream tourist routes.

As the mountains begin to fade behind us, the first glimpses of the South China Sea appear on the horizon. The transition from cool highlands to tropical coastline is one of the most memorable moments of the tour.

Approaching Nha Trang, white sandy beaches, fishing boats, and turquoise waters signal the completion of the journey.

End of the Day

By afternoon, we arrive in Nha Trang, one of Vietnam’s premier beach destinations. Famous for its long coastline, fresh seafood, and vibrant atmosphere, Nha Trang provides the perfect finale to this adventure.

After four unforgettable days of riding, guests can relax by the beach, enjoy a seafood dinner overlooking the ocean, or extend their stay to explore the islands and attractions of the region.

The 4 Day Saigon Nha Trang Easy Ride concludes with memories of historic battlefields, peaceful countryside roads, ethnic cultures, mountain landscapes, and Vietnam’s stunning coastline—an ideal short motorbike tour showcasing the remarkable diversity of southern Vietnam.

Tour End.
